Really nice patio to sit and enjoy a drink right on the water! Great fish tacos too!

The food was a very good quality for the price. Handmade fettuccine, fries, sweet potato fries... the ribs were fall off the bone, perfectly cooked. All very good. The service was a little lacking, we were left sitting with empty glasses and had to flag someone down to get more drinks. The food was dropped off and no one came back until well after we were done. In spite of that, still a good experience as the food was worth it.

I had the special. Prime Rib medium rare. It was to order, with mash potatoes and mixed vegetables that were hot not just warm. The meal was fantastic !!!! We had a party of 10. All the appetizers were brought out together, the meals out all together and the place was very busy. I'll be back soon!!!!!!

The restaurant provides a friendly atmosphere and being the only restaurant in Lighthouse Cove open as you can expect, is moderately busy. The wait staff of very friendly. As they just recently reopen, they are currently working on the menu. It currently has a good selection for their lunch and dinner menus. One pitfall is the quality of food when it leaves the kitchen. The tomato soup was like a can of spaghetti sauce. Battered mushroom where still frozen in the centre. The perch dinner is delightful however. The patio is also a great spot to hang out and have a drink or two as well. Very convenient for boaters as there are docks right off the patio to tie off to.

For those not familiar with the area, this restaurant is NOT on a lake. It’s more like a tiny waterway. The food was good but the the portions were small for the price. I ordered the perch, which got a great review on here, and I have never been served such tiny pieces of fish in my life. Each piece was about 3 inches long, and it cost $15. They had a large party there so our server was distracted but very nice.

One big thing that needs to be changed the marble cheese shredded on the fish tacos. To make matters worse it had guacamole on them to, by far the worst appetizer I've had at a restaurant. Please make this dish as it should be, light and refreshing not heavy. Made me concerned about the chefs other choices, however, the burgers were cooked fairly well. Staff was friendly and inviting. It's nice to have a restaurant running in lighthouse year long now.
